Adanada Çukurova Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Balcalı Hastanesine kontrole giden 75 yaşınaki Hatice Sabahi, evine dönmek için Vedat K.nin kullandığı özel halk otobüsüne bindi.

Sürücü direksiyon başında sigara içtiği sırada otobüsün kapısı açık bir şekilde ilerlerken, Sabahi ulaşım kartını göstermek için ayağa kalktı. Manevra sırasında dengesini kaybeden Sabahi, açık olan kapıdan düşerek başını asfalta çarptı.

Ağır yaralanan Sabahi, ihbar üzerine kaza yerine gelen sağlık ekipleri tarafından hastaneye kaldırıldı. Gözaltına alınarak adliyeye sevk edilen sürücü Vedat K. ise çıkarıldığı mahkemece adli kontrol şartıyla serbest bırakıldı.

Hastanede ameliyata alınan 6 çocuk annesi Hatice Sabahinin beyin kanaması geçirdiği, köprücük ve kürek kemiği ile göğüs kafesinde kırıklar olduğu belirlendi.

Kafatasında biriken kan boşaltılan Sabahi, yoğun bakım ünitesinde entübe edildi. Sabahinin emekli öğretmen eşi Cemil Sabahi (74) ile çocukları hastaneye giderek, gelecek iyi haberi beklemeye başladı.

Sabahi bugün kaldırıldığı hastanede hayatını kaybetti. Sabahinin cenazesi yakınları tarafından alınıp toprağa verilecek.
