49 notis dikeluarkan kerana kenaikan harga ayam

Georgetown: Sebanyak 49 notis dikeluarkan Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) Pulau Pinang kepada penternak, pemborong dan peniaga di negeri ini, susulan kenaikan harga ayam.

Notis itu dikeluarkan ketika pemantauan dan pemeriksaan di pasar awam sekitar negeri ini, sejak 10 September lalu.

Pengarah KPDNHEP Pulau Pinang, Mohd Ridzuan Ab Ghapar berkata, pemantauan dan pemeriksaan itu dijalankan ke atas rantaian pembekalan ayam dan pasar awam bagi mengenal pasti punca kenaikan harga ayam.

Beliau berkata, sebanyak 37 Notis Pengesahan Maklumat Barangan/Perkhidmatan (NPMB) dan 12 Notis Bertulis (NB) dikeluarkan kepada penternak, pemborong dan peniaga.

“Peniaga diberi tempoh selama dua hari bagi NPMB dan lima hari bagi NB bagi memberi maklumat berhubung kenaikan harga ayam untuk dianalisis.

“Seterusnya kami akan kenal pasti kenaikan harga yang berlaku bagi memastikan tiada individu mendapatkan keuntungan tidak munasabah,” katanya menerusi kenyataan, hari ini.

Mohd Ridzuan berkata, KPDNHEP Pulau Pinang sudah mengadakan sesi libat urus bersama penternak, pemborong dan peniaga di negeri ini bagi membantu menstabilkan harga ayam di peringkat rantaian pembekalan serta di pasar awam.

Beliau berkata, hasil perbincangan itu, harga ayam di negeri ini sudah menunjukkan penurunan.

“Ia selaras dengan komitmen kementerian, penternak dan pemborong supaya peruncit boleh menjual ayam pada harga RM9.50 sekilogram di pasar awam di negeri ini.

“Mana-mana pihak didapati cuba mendapatkan keuntungan tidak munasabah akan dikenakan tindakan tegas mengikut Akta Kawalan Harga dan Antipencatutan (AKHAP) 2011,” katanya.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Mohd Ridzuan berkata, pihaknya turut menjalankan pemeriksaan terhadap 222 premis perniagaan di sekitar Pulau Pinang, sejak 5 September lalu, bagi memantau pematuhan harga maksimum oleh pemborong dan peruncit.

Katanya, pemeriksaan di sekitar Seberang Jaya mendapati ada peniaga runcit yang menawarkan Kit Ujian Pantas Antigen Covid-19 (Ujian Sendiri) pada harga RM16.50 sekotak.

“Sehubungan itu, peniaga dinasihati supaya berhemah dan beretika dalam perniagaan bagi menangani isu harga dan sebarang aduan, boleh disalurkan kepada KPDNHEP bagi tindakan lanjut.

“Aduan dan maklumat berkaitan boleh disalurkan dengan menghubungi Bilik Gerakan KPDNHEP Negeri menerusi talian 04-3840245, Pusat Arahan Penguatkuasaan (03-8882 6088 / 03-8882 6245) dan Portal e-aduan KPDNHEP (https://eaduan.kpdnhep.gov.my).
