1. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

One of the best movies of all time, this sports biopic was initially offered to Akshay Kumar who later also confessed that he regretted rejecting the script. He was working on Once Upon A Time Dobaara at that time and his loss turned out to be Farhan Akhtar’s gain.

2. Baazigar

What turned out to be an iconic role for SRK was a missed opportunity for Khiladi Kumar. Apparently heroes in the 90s weren’t too keen to shed that image and take up a negative role so Akshay rejected this offer.

3. Race

One of India’s biggest franchise in terms of ‘masala’ movies put Saif Ali Khan on a pedestal when he took the lead role and aced it. However, initially the movie was first offered to Akshay Kumar who rejected it eventually.

4. A Hollywood project

As per reports, Akshay was offered a Hollywood project with Dwayne Johnson but that didn’t materialize since he didn’t think the role was meaty enough.
