3 pristine islands in the south

The tourist islands in the South below are attractive options for you to enjoy the summer days.

In addition to the familiar names, the southern area also owns many beautiful tourist spots that not everyone knows. With beautiful natural scenery, cool climate, interesting experiences … these islands are suitable for those who want to immerse themselves in unspoiled nature, explore new lands.

Hon Nghe (Kien Giang)

Different from the tourist bustle of Phu Quoc, Hon Nghe island in Hon Nghe commune, Kien Luong district, Kien Giang province, is the destination to enjoy the tranquility. It is made up of sandstone mixed with karst limestone.

From the pier in Ba Hon town (Kien Luong district), you buy a ticket to move to the island. Only one train per day leads guests to Hon Nghe Island and back.

During the stay here, you can watch the sunrise, sunset, go to Lau Chuong mountain to admire the giant Buddha statue, fish seafood, explore the Diamond cave system, Lonely Buddha cave, King Gia cave. Long …

Pirate Islands (Kien Giang)

Hai Tac archipelago, also known as Ha Tien archipelago, consists of more than 16 islands. In which, Hon Tre is the largest island about 350 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Not having many impacts of tourism, most tourists choose Hai Tac Island as a destination to enjoy the tranquility and mystery.

From December to April is the best time to do your planned island tour. At this time, the weather is dry, less rain, blue sky, calm sea, favorable for memorable activities by the coast. Bathing, visiting sovereignty landmarks, checking-in wooden bridge, exploring neighboring islands … are experiences you can participate in here.

Hon Khoai (Ca Mau)

Hon Khoai is an island in the southernmost part of the country. This place is attracted by wild beauty and fresh climate. Temporarily away from the noisy and busy city, coming to the island, visitors will have days to enjoy the peaceful space of green mountains and vast sea.

Check-in on the beautiful beaches, visit the Giang Tien stream, the hundred-year-old lighthouse … are activities you can experience here. In it, the small beach in the southeast with a series of unique pebbles like giant eggs is a virtual living spot that visitors should not miss.
