Kaizer Chiefs are heavily linked with two PSL goalkeepers ahead of next season as they appear to be facing a goalkeeping crisis.

According to local reports, Chiefs are keeping tabs on Richards Bay FC goalkeeper Salim Magoola and Chippa United shot-stopper Stanley Nwabili.

Both Magoola and Nwabili have been impressive for their respective teams, and it’s no surprise that there is interest in their services.

KAIZER CHIEFS FACE POSSIBLE GOALKEEPING CRISIS

These reports of Kaizer Chiefs showing interest in Magoola and Nwabili stem from the fact that the Soweto giants could face a goalkeeping crisis.

And that’s because all three goalkeepers – Itumeleng Khune, Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma – will have their contracts expire in June.

Both Petersen and Bvuma are likely to be offered new deals while Khune is in his final season with Chiefs as per the club’s statement earlier this year.

Nonetheless, the issue of Khune is yet to be clarified further following the comments he made i the media that he’s not ready to retire.
