1er mai - Environ 10.000 personnes manifestent à Zurich

Environ 10.000 personnes ont participé au cortège du 1er mai mercredi à Zurich, en Suisse, sous le mot d’ordre “Le capitalisme rend malade”. En marge du cortège, plusieurs vitrines, dont des filiales d’UBS et de Franz Carl Weber, ont été badigeonnées de peinture rouge.

Une correspondante de Keystone-ATS sur place a évalué à 10.000 personnes l’affluence au cortège. Ce dernier se dirigeait vers la place du Sechseläuten, où il devait se terminer. La police était présente en force.

Le cortège officiel organisé par la faîtière syndicale de l’Union syndicale suisse (USS) visait en particulier à mobiliser en faveur d’un “oui” à l’initiative d’allègement des primes maladie, soumise en votation le 9 juin. De nombreux groupes se sont toutefois joints à la manifestation, notamment cette année un grand “bloc Palestine”.

Dans l’après-midi, de nombreuses organisations radicales de gauche ont appelé à une manifestation non autorisée.
