Indiyah Polack was in no mood for discussion when a fan slammed her relationship with Dami Hope, accusing the hunk of trying to “sabotage” her career.
In a now-deleted post, the social media user took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say what they thought about the Love Island star’s romance on Monday, prompting Indiyah to take a stand for her man – and she fiercely clapped back.
The 25-year-old penned her own message to the fan, in a no-nonsense mood, branding the individual “negative” as she defended Dami and ordered the fan to “stay out” of their relationship.

“OH girl you negative Nancy!! we’re both doing very well for ourselves. STFU and stay out of my relationship. If you don’t have anything nice to say about me and my man, clock out,” the TV star wrote, according to the Sun.

Multiple X users swarmed over to Twitter following her post and praised Indiyah for her words, one of them writing: “why I respect you? you always put trolls in their place! ain’t no way y’all gonna disrespect her man!” Another echoed: “This is how to support your partner! Well done dear.” A third chimed in: “People always find reasons to ruin your happy place, don’t let them! Love to you two.”
However, a handful of Indiyah’s fans weren’t in agreement and urged her to consider another perspective. One of them wrote: “Indiyah you can do so much better”, while another quipped: “You going to stick beside that loser??? Ok sis if you love it I love it!” A third jumped in: “You make money from exposing your life. This tweet makes no sense.” Meanwhile, another follower unearthed seemingly controversial comments from Dami’s own profile, deeming them “misogynistic.”
But for Indiyah and Dami, the online backlash is nothing more than a storm in a teacup as their bond has been rock solid since their exit from the Love Island villa in 2022. The loved-up pair frequently share glimpses of their everyday lives with their social media followers. In July 2023, they most notably celebrated one year of romance together.
During a chat with The Mirror in September, Indiyah even teased potential engagement plans when she was asked about her future with Dami: “Oh, don’t know maybe a nice car, nice ring,” she’d said. However, the bombshell ruled out the topic of children “for now” as she added: “No babies for now, but maybe we can do cats and dogs. We can do a house… marriage. I’m into both [cats and dogs] I am more on the cat side, like a big fluffy version.”
A smitten Indiyah then insisted that, while she wasn’t ready for motherhood, her relationship with Dami has only grown stronger. “We’ve only been together a year but sometimes it feels like, ‘wow, like, this feels way longer than a year’. But I think that’s a good thing though; to feel like you’ve been with your person forever.”
