A 14-year-old boy will face an armed robbery charged after an incident in Regina on Friday night.
Regina Police Service said in a news release that officers were called about 9:40 p.m. to the 4500 block of Gordon Road after a report of a robbery.
The victim told police he had been approached by a group, and one of them with a firearm demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim was not injured, police said.
Police located the suspect in the area and also found a CO2 handgun.
The youth, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was scheduled to make his first court appearance in youth court on March 20.
