President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced more good news on air defense in his address.
“In general, the first two weeks of this year have already added to Ukraine’s strength and capabilities. There are new support packages for our soldiers. There are much-needed agreements on the joint production of weapons and shells, especially a sensitive issue – drones,” he said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that there would be more drones.
“We are preparing more good news on air defense. We remember about missiles and electronic warfare – there will be more of them. And invariably, month after month, we are increasing our Ukrainian artillery production,” the president added.
Zelenskyy’s appeal to the West
On January 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy rebuked the Western partners for not providing enough air defense systems to Ukraine.
He noted that if Ukraine had received at least seven Patriot systems, “people in Kharkiv, Odesa, Kherson” would not have died.
The Head of State emphasized that he did not understand how one could live in peace knowing this.
