The 2024 People’s Choice Awards will air live on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET /5 p.m. PT on NBC, Peacock and E!

Lenny Kravitz is set to receive the People’s Music Icon award at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards on Feb. 18 in a live ceremony on NBC, Peacock and E!.
The musician and actor will also perform a multi-song arrangement of his legendary music catalog.
The Grammy winner is being honored for his impact on the rock genre. Kravitz — known for his hits “American Woman,” “Fly Away” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way” — has created a distinct sound of mixing soul, rock and funk.
The multi-hyphenate has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide over the course of 30 years. Throughout his illustrious career, he won four consecutive Grammy Awards for best male rock vocal performance for “Fly Away,” “American Woman,” “Again” and “Dig In,” in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, respectively.
More recently, the songwriter was nominated for his work on the soundtrack of the film Rustin. The original song, “Road to Freedom,” was produced specifically for the Netflix film. It has since been nominated for a Golden Globe Award nomination for best original song – motion picture and a Critics Choice Award nomination for best song.

He’s also received awards from the American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Radio Music Awards and the Brit Awards.

Kravitz joins the likes of the previous two winners Christina Aguilera and Shania Twain.
The 2024 People’s Choice Awards hosted by Simu Liu will air live on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET /5 p.m. PT on NBC, Peacock and E! from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
