Leinster announce ticket prices from €10 for Croke Park showdown with Northampton

Leinster have confirmed the ticketing distribution plan ahead of their Champions Cup semi-final date with Northampton Saints at Croke Park on Saturday May 4.

Tickets for the game will go on sale to season ticket holders on Thursday morning, April 18, at 10am.

Tickets for the semi-final are on average €10 cheaper than prices last year, with the cheapest available adult ticket costing €18 and junior tickets costing €10. Remaining tickets will be on general sale on Friday morning from 10am.

Leinster Shane Nolan said: “This is an historic arrangement we have agreed with the GAA and I’d like to thank Uachtarán Jarlath Burns, Ard Stiúrthóir Tom Ryan, and Stadium and Commercial Director, Peter McKenna and all the event and operations team in the GAA, who have been enormously helpful to us over the last few months in bringing the agreement to fruition.

“We are acutely aware that nothing is guaranteed in team sports but as a tenant in the RDS Arena and indeed at the Aviva Stadium, we knew of their schedules and potential impact on Leinster games this season and next, in particular around knock-out games.

“It is sensible for Leinster Rugby as an organisation to plan for all eventualities should a scheduling issue arise and with it being known that the RDS and Aviva Stadium would not available for some games, we needed to have a plan in place and we are delighted to have this agreement in place with Croke Park.

“We had over 90,000 through the turnstiles of Aviva Stadium over the last two weekends and it will be exciting to see how many supporters we can bring to Croke Park for the semi-final.

“A game played in Croke Park will be such a brilliant occasion not only for Leinster Rugby supporters but for Irish sports fans in general.”

Leinster famously beat Munster 25-6 in front of 82,208 supporters in May 2009 in the semi-final of the Heineken Cup.

Ticket prices: €90 Premium, €75 Category 1, €55 Category 2, €38 Category 3, €18 Category 4 (Hill 16, terrace).

€10 Junior
