EPL: I expect them to win their remaining games – Walcott predicts title winners
Former Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has predicted the Gunners to win the Premier League title this season.
Walcott said he expects Mikel Arteta’s side to win their remaining five matches.
He spoke after Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table after beating Wolves 2-0 on Saturday.
“Yes, I do,” Walcott said when asked by fellow pundit Jamie Redknapp if Arsenal could win the Premier League with five wins from their remaining five matches.
“It’s these games I don’t think you are going to have to get yourself up for; you are just made for it. These are players that want to make a difference and create history and change that pattern.
“City, I feel like Brighton and Tottenham, they’ve got a lot to say. Liverpool again, Fulham away, and Everton away. There’s some tough fixtures. But Arsenal, I expect them to get the points in those games.”
