Independent MP Dai Le has called out the government’s industrial relations policies, which are “so disconnected from reality” because they don’t incentivise people to go to work and become a “productive citizen”.
The Fair Work Commission is investigating whether it needs to change the right to work from home for about 2.2 million Australians on awards to accommodate the working arrangements that were in place during the pandemic.
Industrial relations legislation is ‘so disconnected from reality’: Dai Le
“We make policies that are just so disconnected from reality,” Ms Le told Sky News Australia.
“Let’s make it easier for people to go to work.
“Let’s incentivise people to go to work so they can contribute and become a productive citizen of this society.”
