Trisha files defamation case against former AIADMK leader AV Raju
As Trisha mentioned in her reaction to former AIADMK leader AV Raju’s derogatory remarks, a case has been filed against the politician. The actor took to X to share pictures of the notice sent to Raju. According to the notice, a defamation case has been filed against Raju.
In the notice, Trisha has made several demands from Raju. She has asked the politician to refrain from further tarnishing her image by making similar remarks in a public forum. He is also asked to take necessary action to remove all the reports and videos from the internet that are based on his comments.
AV Raju must also issue an unconditional apology to Trisha within 24 hours of receiving the notice. The apology should be published in a leading Tamil and English newspaper with a circulation of more than five lakhs. Raju must also release an apology video on YouTube. Upon failing to meet the demands, Trisha has threatened Raju with relevant civil and criminal proceedings.

Former AIADMK leader AV Raju, in a recent media interaction, made some vulgar allegations against Trisha. He hinted that the actor received money for sexual favors from a politician in 2017, when many AIADMK leaders were cooped up in a resort in Koovathur after the death of former CM J Jayalalithaa.

Raju’s allegations received severe backlash from fans and film personalities. From director Cheran to actor Vishal to filmmaker Selvamani, many prominent personalities came out in support of Trisha and slammed Raju for his baseless allegations.
On the work front, Trisha has Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life, Chiranjeevi’s Viswambara, and Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi in the pipeline.
