กัมพูชาแจง “ร้อนจัด” – บีบีซี รายงานวันที่ 3 พ.ค. ว่า ทางการกัมพูชาแถลงความคืบหน้าการสอบสวนเหตุ คลังสรรพาวุธระเบิด ในจังหวัดกำปงสปือ คร่าชีวิตทหาร 20 นาย และทำลายบ้านเรือนในบริเวณใกล้เคียงจนพังราบ 25 หลัง เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 27 เม.ย.ที่ผ่านมาว่าเป็นเพราะ อากาศร้อนจัด

 เหตุระเบิดดังกล่าวมีสาเหตุมาจากความผิดพลาดในการเก็บอาวุธยุทโธปกรณ์ร่วมกับสภาพอากาศของประเทศที่ร้อนจัดซึ่งคาดว่าอุณหภูมิจะสูงถึง 43 องศาเซลเซียส พร้อมยืนกรานปฏิเสธคำกล่าวอ้างที่ว่ามีกลุ่มทหารกบฏอยู่เบื้องหลัง

 ด้าน นายกรัฐมนตรีฮุน มาเนต ผู้นำกัมพูชา กล่าวว่าทางการจะรับผิดชอบค่าใช้จ่ายจัดงานศพและค่าชดเชยราว 736,600 บาทแก่ครอบครัวทหารผู้เสียชีวิต ส่วนทหารที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บจะได้รับเงินเยียวยา 184,150 บาท
