She slipped into a pair of open-toed, gold heels that were secured with thin straps that wrapped around her ankles.

Chelsea accessorized her dress with a pair of sparkling, silver earrings as well as a dainty, gold bracelet on her left wrist.

Her blonde locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

The star’s makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a shimmering shadow around her eyes.

A light pink blush was added to her cheekbones, while a glossy, nude-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

Handler is taking on hosting duties at the Critics Choice Awards for the second year in a row after hosting the awards show last year.

While talking to The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week, she opened up about hosting the ceremony following the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike.

‘I feel a strong desire to show up and provide a reprieve to all the madness and to keep the vibes high and remind people about laughter, togetherness and the fact that there’s still good in the world,’ she expressed to the outlet.

In regards to what she likes most about the Critics Choice Awards, Chelsea stated, ‘It doesn’t feel like there’s a lot of weight in terms of the awards. Everyone’s there to have a good time.’

‘I’m a girl that has a good time. So it’s a good match. It’s not as serious as the Oscars, and it’s not as chaotic as the Golden Globes.’

On the topic of hosting the show for a second time, she expressed, ‘I know I can deliver; this is very much in my wheelhouse.’

‘And it’s very enjoyable to be able to share a room with all the people who’ve worked so hard to be there, especially in a year where, the No. 1 box office movie of the year, is by a woman.’

‘That makes me so happy. And there are so many females to be celebrating this year. I don’t feel like, “Oh, I better do a good job.” I will do a good job.’
